[bodytext] => I look around me and there ain't no flow, I'm not sure which way our country will go, up, down, right, left? Despite guns in tow the path to victory has been slow, and all I know is that each day looks more and more bleak. We have become weak from the hunger for power and thirst for greed, when all we ever needed to survive is right here. I look around me and there ain't no flow, I'm not sure which way our country will go, up, down, right, or left? In a place that is supposed to embrace everyone like family, gays are beaten and left for dead, innocent blacks are shot through the head by police in cold blood, and Asians have never been able to fit the equation of the "All American" when the look on everyone's face tells us white is still the master race. I look around me and there ain't no flow, I'm not sure which way our country will go, up, down, right, or left? Right now people are suffering right outside our back door, yet we step around them and hurry by, doing our best to ignore their cries for help. It's easy to block out the rest of the outside world from inside safe suburban walls where the average person will never know hunger, diseases, poverty, or war. I've heard it said before that the world doesnt just stop when we close our eyes. So while our country gropes blindly for the right direction, Our eyes must be open.
