Array ( [sid] => 141650 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Flame of Freedom. [time] => 2008-04-17 13:56:32 [hometext] => I dedicate this poem to my Tibetan brothers and for their strangled yet struggling voice for “FREE TIBET”. [bodytext] =>
Aggression of dominance over passive
hill dwelling folks, suppression of liberty,
and depressing poverty bloodshed and
discrimination, once a home, now but a
distant hazy reverie, scattered folks, refugees
of alien lands; a cursed boon by power starved
red-dragons spread their evil wings upon these
hill-dwellers.

Double-tongued as they are, set to light
the flame of freedom, fire drawn from
burning homes of these hill-dwellers,
cries and chaos submerge beneath the
roars of red-dragons Shamelessly bare
the flame of freedom around the world
stamping over heads of passive hill-dwellers.

Sports; a symbol of freedom hosted by
malicious monstrous red-dragons
where lady of liberty reduced to the
statues of a whore. Abetted by nations
that falsely preaches freedom and liberty
To suit their selfish pursuit to gobble power;
ignoring blood and bloodshed, duff to the sound
of cries for sovereignty, as the flame of freedom
pompously crusaded in our midst.

Applauding with cheers, you and me stand aside
joyously gaze at the spectacular display of power
knowing not the source of the flame.
