As people come and go, but she is ignored
It is as if she doesn't exist, only in her mind
Love has avoided her and friendship ignored her

She sits all alone within her own darkness
Her heart cries in pity for the plight she is in
With no one to comfort her or willing to help her
Loneliness and pain are her only companions

She sits all alone within the blackness of despair
Remembering her childhood so happy and carefree
Her youth she recalls so glorious and promising
I am human, I am woman her inner voice cries

She sits all alone with no future before her
Her heart crushed by the burden of nothingness
Her soul drowning in a bitter sea of continuous tears
I am useless, I am a burden her empty soul cries

She sits all alone crowded in by her nothingness
Her mind staggers from the weight of her pain
Her existence no longer has meaning or worth
I am nothing, I am worthless, her aching heart cries

She sits all alone engulfed by the mist of her fears
Remembering the heartbreak of rejection and ridicule
Her self-worth stolen from her so many years ago
I am woman, I am human, it maybe best that I die
