Off in the corner
His purpose unknown
Slipping ever more
He sits and he waits
For someone to come
Before its too late
Before he returns home
He looks for an answer
But he is not sure why
He listens to the banter
Of those who walk by
He feels it inside
He doesn't know what
So he tries to hide
But he's there, acknowledged or not
We don't see him
Or at least we pretend
His life is growing dim
Christ sees him, who will He send
Reach out to your stranger
We are all supposed to
Show the love of the Father
Share the gift given to you

A beautiful sentiment. And wonderful message.

I've been thinking on this subject quite a lot lately. Thank you
for sharing this. :)

Are you saying that it is through or becasue of christ we act? Saying the devine purpose has a path already laid and all we do is fate, then why would you contest the point?

Do you believe that someone would be sent, with or without knowledge, to aid the stranger or that it would be through their own volition and that in turn would be labelled an act of christ? Which in turn is another irony, as kiekegaard says "Once you label me you negate me" Is not that negating Christ through labelling, or the acts which you believe he perpetuates, are they also not voided by labels? Would this whole line of though not conclude with the point that by believing in one true Christ you are infact lessening the faith and with total belief comes total anihilation? Is it not therefore inevitable that it is the religious that are killing the religions and in turn the gods fall to their followers?

I really have a genuine problem where i think entirely too much, i have questions that i earn for answres. However, i believe that you have hit upon some oxy morons here that should be addressed. I'm not surprised as religions are built on contradictions.

Technically sound and nice to read, but theologically i'm not leaving fulfilled.
