|
no burial for me
when life slips from my shell
left naked in the woods
my final gift, be well
organic putrification
giving back to the earth
nurtients seeping out
sucked up by tree roots
yellow bile, ichors flow
decomposition of flesh
muscles begin to liquify
the symphony of death
a banquet for the flies
helping propagate their species
a feast for the beasts
as my corpse swells with gasses
let the soil drink of my juices
may rodents bellies be full
the grass now grows stronger
where once laid a fool

Unambiguous and genuine in its gift to Gaia. Nothing more unnatural than going in to the ground in an expensive box/sarcophagous/being embalmed.
Look what happens if you're found - disintered, displayed, poked and prodded, ground into powder or burnt as fuel. No thanks - my body won't tell the future anything new. Still, a cover of leaves would be nice, and I like the idea of returning to the Earth-womb...
Bury me deep beneath her skin
Let me melt into to the world within

| Great writing here, kind of opened my eyes in a way at how much we are all part of the bigger picture, anyway i was moved by this and have read it 2 or 3 times, the message is so powerfull i hope more people read it, ttyl man.. |
