As the trees swing there branches Violently in the roaring wind Dust and dirt getting in your eyes Preventing you from being able to see The path to your house Just a few steps away Yet missing it by merely an inch You stumble on in a daze Not knowing where you are headed On an unrecognizable side street You stray farther and farther From the places you know Then as suddenly as it started The storm gives way To the rays of the brilliant sunshine As you see what surrounds you Clearer than ever before You follow the footprints That bring you back home

Very imaginative and pictures indeed. I could almost feel the stormy wind and the fear of getting lost...
very elegant my friend...I really liked the presentation.
Wonderfully penned.
Regards,
FRANCO. |
