When You Come To Me

The days go slowly by my dear
Waiting so patiently
For the day my dreams will come true
When you come to me

We can spend every day together
Watching the stars up above
Holding each other ever so close
Bathing each other in love

We have challenges ahead I know
We both have much to do
But no matter what happens, I promise you babe
I will always take care of you

When times are hard, and youre feeling scared
Ill put my hand on your face
And you will know theres no need for fear
Love will always take its place

Words can never truly express
My deep feelings for you
If I ever lost you girl
I dont know what I would do

This poem is my futile attempt
It cant even begin to compare
These words are all I have to give to you now
While I wait for you to be here

To hold you in my arms, to touch your skin
To kiss you so softly
These are the things that can only express
These will help you to see

So rest my dear, take comfort in this
While we are so far apart
There are many girls in this world
But you will always have my heart

The sun rises, the day comes closer
I close my eyes again and dream
Of all the beautiful things we can find
When you come to me
