I saw you
A young man confused
But willing to take a chance
Adventurous and open
Now all I've learned from you
I will never forget
I am amazed by your bravery
Silenced by your love
Hurt by our past
And still no-one can replace you
I lived through you
You lived for me
And we live for
The prospect of a new day
I think only now we realize
This is the beginning
Of what lies beneath the surface
Now all I've learned from you
I will never forget
I am amazed by all your beauty
And silenced by your love
