For so long
Never thought anyone will come by
Loneliness creeps in sometimes
Wrapped around so tight
That I think I am going to die
Once a while
A special friend does come along
That makes my heart wonder
If that is the special someone
I have been waiting for
I have been longing for
Reality flashes it red lights
Putting a stop to my dreams
Knowing a smile is just a friendly smile
Knowing a hug is just a show of affection
Knowing a kiss is no more than a touch
I continue my journey on this road
Alone

I can really relate to that feeling of isolation there sometimes, it's tough to deal with but things always get better i promise you. In your case it has inspired an amazing poem, you have a really good writing style and the ending is so powerful.
