Some new laws, well, are just too daft
Poor old Santa Claus, now what can he do
And he used to be so very well liked too
But no longer can he smile, laugh and jove
For now he cannot sing his trademark ... Ho! Ho! Ho!

It is derogatory, or so they now say
Some may take his words, in the wrong way
So now he must sing out with "HA! HA! HA!
Oh now they are taking it, just way too far
(Oh dad he is laughing at me, my 2 year old said
Thats not right dad, as many tears he shed)

Now who in the world would take a jolly man's words
And twist them to mean something so absurd
A do-gooder, a politician, a lawyer, now who?
Are making so many little souls so blue
I can tell you now, on that special of days
It will be HO! HO! HO! that this dad will say.

Wow, I like the write, Mick, but damn that is just ridiculous. This world is an unbelievable place.
Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas is still my Santa saying. Poor Santa, indeed.
Have a wonderful holiday, my friend.

Laura
