Invisible Tears

You hate my tears thats something I know
But theyll always come out when Im feeling really low
When I smile and warmly embrace
Youll see not the tears rolling down my face
All my life Ive been in pain
Couldnt imagine life without it now, falling apart again
Something thats been there over all the years
A sense of hopelessness and all my invisible tears
Each morning when I awake
I start to shiver I start to shake
All the emotions ravage my soul
Leaving my body as an empty hole
I gave them love
I gave them trust
They thrashed my soul
My body faced their Lust
Hit, hidden, locked away
Molested by them everyday
I cried so hard I slaughtered my soul
Invisible tears, them I know
I forgive now their hurt
I let away their pain
I have faith in the system
Theyll never do it again
The months Ill never get back
That will haunt through all my years
Shaped me for the future
I had my time of sorrow, covered it with beer
Im going to be strong now
So I can get ahead
Ill leave my baggage at the door
And be glad that Im not dead
Forgiven Not Forgotten
The pain must go
I'm ready to move on now

| Wow! i really like this poem , thanks for the comments your a very good writer so it makes me feel good to know my words and ideas arnt unthought about and wasted trash ... like you i live with pain too so it's easy to relate to your poems there very good! take it easy and keep writing later man |
