It feels like you just tease me, when I stare into your eyes
And you tell me things to ease me, when you see my anger rise
And I know that you could please me, but I cant tell truths from lies

I know this isnt because of you, but from the others in my past
Why I feel like nothings true, is cause the truth always came last
No my heart's not ripped in two, its been torn in twenty halves
Once I heard that loves the glue, and it could fix my problems fast

But I've always found it hard, for the start of newer things
You have to always be on guard, because nothings what it seems
You'll have to find it in your heart, If this is real or in your dreams
Could I fill it all or just a part, can I handle all your needs

So now lets think of both of us, and what we'd get from this
There are things we should discuss, like whats to gain or risk
The need to see each others wants, from their relationships
I'll tell you mine will start with trust, and you could seal that with a kiss

I've had my share of liars in my life (most of my life in fact), but I've learned to trust some people who are worthy of it. I hope you have had some of that too.
