[ Author's Note Addendum: I could not find the words to this piece saved on a home computer last night. I rewrote it from memory. Today, I located the original saved copy, and while I stayed fairly close to the initial format, I didn't miss a word. It is dated... 12/28/06 ]

I think the formatting added an extra dimension to the piece, leading the eye around as you read it, adding emphasis here and there. I always enjoy reading pieces with this kind of subject matter, and I found your final stanza quite poignant. Well done.

Love, love the format here. Very clever and creative. The poem itself, wonderfully uplifting. The last stanza hit home with me, my friend. Letting go and moving forward, should be so easy, why does it feel like concrete sometimes on the feet? Great stuff.
Peace,
Laura

Wonderful write, uplifting and bubbling over with enthusiasm, belief and strength. Its the kind of write that can put you back on track and help shake off those nagging doubts.
Very creative formatting, I think you got it spot on!

Take care,
Dom

There is something about being released that makes us ..
more brave. Somehow, out there, where we are no longer
wandering around in circles, but actually choosing our
destinies with a full and clear heart. That Anthony really has depth!

Wings. I have pondered that notion on so many occasions. If we
are, indeed capable of wings, do we then need someone to teach us
to fly? hmmmmm ... there is much to ponder in this one nazzy. I adore
the way you write. It can be taken so many ways and relate to so
many lives .... that's one reason your readers are such a diverse lot!

Magnificence in print, scotty.

i can honestly say that after reading this uplifting piece i too have been realeased, but really, this is an ode to hope, it bleeds it, it tells us of a bigger somthing out there, of taking control of destiny, of our life, what an enthralling write, such ambiguity in its depth,

well done freind,

Well done Naz..and what a great title. It is odd that we chain ourselves in or down...thank heavens you are now released. Glad you added the audio...it gives it flight indeed.
