Array ( [sid] => 137891 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Respect [time] => 2007-10-17 18:36:49 [hometext] => About how lil respect we seem to have lately for eachother. Been in discussions with me neighbours over me own balcony...how they walk over it while I asked them not to.. [bodytext] => Respect....
Where does it start and where does it end?

Respect is such a small thing
That takes you a long way
It doesnt cost a thing and it gives back alot
Respecting another one's wishes isnt so difficult
But what if the respect you give,
Isnt returned back to you?

How can three families be so disrespectful
Towards someone elses simple wishes
What does that say about me
And what does that say about them?
Am I just one that rolls over and give in
Or are they just the plain n simple walkovers...

Respect....
Its a small thing to give that takes you along way
Respect your fellow neighbours in the name of God
Thats all He ever wanted you to give to one another

Thank you for your poem on respect. There is a deadline we must all make and so very little time left. We must all learn also those words, repent and believe, what they mean, and to listen to the message God our Father told us, sent by Jesus Christ His son, The Kingdom of God is very much alive. This is the good news sent. Respect; love one another; love thy neighbor, for the Kingdom of God, Kingdom, government of God that Jesus Christ sent to us are those glad tidings we will have eternally when we learn to respect and love each other as He respects and loves all of His children. By giving respect and love to one another we do not risk putting a curse upon ourselves. Amen to you poem.

Unfortunately there will always be rude and disrespectful people. I don't understand it. Sadly, it is just the way it is. I guess that's how we can tell people like you are so cool. :D

Definitely a nice poem and interesting subject to write about.

I hope things with your neighbors are better for you now.

Take care,

Tim
