There are too many ways you can hurt me
Yet I've got you stuck on my mind
Though I'm a hesitant girl

And if I turn my head for a brief moment
If you lose sight of my eyes

Very heartfelt and honest piece, with a nice rhythm. Put these feelings into similar words for the other, if you can; there's nothing that can replace honesty and openness in a relationship right out of the gate. Keep it up.

I like the rhythmn of it as well as the content. I am right there with you, feeling the hesitation, the uncertainty.

I love the way you finish each verse with the word "stay", like you are nervously imploring him.
Hopefully he is staying !!
