Do you ever feel like your getting the worse end of the deal?
Like someone around you,
who you feel doesn’t deserve the things she gets,
is getting everything and more,
while you stand back with much less.

Do you ever feel like it just doesn’t matter anymore?
Like no one really hears you when you speak, even when you’re yelling?
You could scream out your lungs and nobody would be listening.

Do you ever want to slap someone to make them pay attention?
To pay attention to what’s really going on, your true reality?

Do you ever feel like they try and guilt trip you?
Well, here’s a clue; IT’S NOT FAIR AND I DON’T CARE!

I deserve better.

Do you ever feel set aside from everyone?
But others put you there instead of yourself.

your messege on this poem is expressed very well.. sounds like your very frustrated with the people around you.. sometimes we all need to be considered with things but aren't always when we need it.. very well expressed

yes i believe we have all been there. i missed out on alot of things growing up, but what *****es me off is people that have can get whatever they want and dont deserve it. oh well what goes around comes around. nice poem.
