Its beginning to take its toll
The cutting, burning, suicidal thoughts
If you know what its like
To wake up after a night,
A night of being intimate with your razor
The soreness, how worthless you feel
Because you couldn't resist, just couldn't
Maybe you've walked the same path as I,
Maybe a little different
In any case I extend my sympathies

Can't pull myself out of this hole,
This six foot hole
Trapped 'n torn
Bleeding, Oh God just stop!!!
Kleenxes - red
Bed - spotted red
Heart - broken and confused
I hate this terminal addiction
Writing my story on my body
Something only a few can translate
And fewer those who can UNDERSTAND

Pain commands my life
Tears, crying on the last rung of life
Trying to feel, but do I want to?
When the only emotion discerned is pain
Dancing in the coldness
To same forever tune
Oh, I hate this... I really do [comments] => 9 [counter] => 153 [topic] => 32 [informant] => bobotheclown [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

Do I know this tune, do I ever..... Honesty or curiosity? A little of both I think....

Indecision, the heart beats and thoughts race through the mind. Holding on is so hard but letting go isn't easy either. Wanting to die, wanting to be saved. Powerless to control the emotions let alone that which causes them. Empty but filled with pain at the same time.

Yes I know, I understand. I've been there and made it through.

Good write.

your writing is very deep and personal... what a beautiful tribute it would be to yourself to bleed the paper with your pen (as you have done so effortlessly here) INSTEAD of your heart with your razor... my blessings to you...
