Today I learned the church of another heart.
That healing never ends or draws apart.
If on the path of pain you've had enough,
You soon begin releasing all that stuff.
Then what better way to learn, how best to live?
Than to read the words, how selflessly they give.
From a heart that would be stone.
Yet a wisdom not alone.
Now brings such a wise and healing light.
If you travel to the pages feeling weak.
You will find the strength and courage that you seek.
All pasted there with love of a truly loving soul.
Take the journey, leaving with a heart that's whole.

The Ghost Alarms enjoyed this poem a great deal. It is interesting, your name, needledancing. When we celebrate the death of our elders, we take off our crimson shoes and dance on needles ourselves. This is why there are bloody footprints all over our floors and strangely we cannot find a cleaning lady to get them out. As we sit at our desks in our robes in honour of this poem, we consider a journey. We each look to the left and ask the one to the left, "journey?". And with the question, each Ghost Alarm responds, "yes, journey." So journey we shall. We simultaneously get up from our desks and walk toward the gates that exit our hallway and enter out into the dark wilderness, signalling our caravan of carriages, each coached by our skeletal friend/chauffeur, Skeleton Jim. Skeleton Jim asks where we are going. In unison we tell him we are going to visit the pages of purplestars. Skeleton Jim laughs, because he's always thought it weird that we speak in unison. Sometimes we believe he asks questions, just so we will speak to him in unison. Because of his laughter, as is always the case, the hinge of his jaw breaks and the bottom half falls to the street. We silmutaneously pick up his jaw and present it to him, each ot us looking to the others and laughing, because we find humor in Skeleton Jim's antics. Skeleton Jim attaches his jaw and we enter our carriages off to view this poet who has been proclaimed by a wonderful poet. We thank you and bow to you for introducing us to such a talent, though we are not sure if the subject of your poem will be excited to see us when we arrive, for we are eccentric and we are many.
May a gargole break from his statue tonight and jump on top of you as you walk down an empty street corner ...... The Ghost Alarms |

I liked the poem, and am glad you found answers you were looking for. That's always nice. However, i have to ask... what's up with that picture? Is that supposed to be a representation of heaven? Two skinny, naked, white people with one wing each, standing next to some floating rocks and a beach? For a faith-based poem, that picture is not at all appropriate. Heaven is a place devoid of sex and lust, and tattoos, and that weird leg hair that dude has. And for a general-audiences web site, that picture is not at all appropriate. You can totally see that chick's nipple, and kids just can't handle boobies. So, alright poem, not alright illustration.

A wonderful poem with true dedication poured into it. The illustration that appropriately defines fear and courage. The black wing signifies fear and the white courage; when we over come fear of temptation (the exposed woman) with courage the heaven above shall open to receive the braved soul. that is what the "church of another heart" teaches.
