Everytime I feel low, it helps me foresee...
Today I'm reading on the girl of my life
Every page is filled with happiness

It shows all the good times we shared
As the pages flow, read about the hearts they bared...
We could never be together though, as the distance kept us apart...
Every other page is filled with happiness

And suddenly I see a page missing
And the happy boy is now found cryin...
But the girl has already left for greener pastures...
Every page now seems blank...

As I roll over the pages of this love story...
I see blank pages with a little text here and there...
They dont make sense nor do they complete the story...
Every page now has a little tear

I finally reach the last page of the book
Would the story unfold and will I ever get her back?
Bated breath, I can feel my hands go cold
You know what, forget it...I'd rather let my future unfold... Time heals precisely by making our memories fade - or rather, our memories over time become altered, they take on some of our traits and subtleties as a result of occupying our minds, and thus become our own, and much more tolerable. The facts become less accurate, but the memory becomes a part of us, and by doing so assumes a special value.
