Sister, they wont let you in
Sister, they know you have sinned
So come to my door theres no need to ring the doorbell
Youre welcome to let yourself in

Cause I know a thing or two about a thing or two
Yes, I know a thing or two about a thing or two.
I know a thing or two about a thing or two
Yes I once was you, I once was you so

Brush off the ash
Water is the transient here
The embers still burn from the past
Their doors are always closed, Sister

They think were ashes by now
Sister
Ashes by now

Youve immerged from there shaken and marred
You cant turn back now youve crawled this far
The stain will show on the white snow of your conscience
Quicker than skin will show the scar
