I wasn't supposed to fall in love
I wasn't supposed to ask God
to give your heart to me
No Fantasies...
When we talked
I wasn't supposed to make you like me
at least not more than just a friend
Look at what has happened
I hope you feel the same way...
Please say you do
When you looked at me
I wasn't supposed to feel this way
I guess I was just afraid...
I just can't help myself babe
That night you kissed these hurting lips
You strummed my pain away
You touched my heart and from the start I knew I'd be with you
Can't help but think of you
I try so hard not to
But it just doesn't make sense
I live for your essence ...
Your voice, your happiness
