Ever drown itself and see true delight

Can the moon so high burning bright
Ever look within itself and vanish from sight

Can the stars that shine with a desperate plea
Ever shed a tear that everyone can see

Can the whispering motions of a wind alive
Ever grow tired and hope to die

Can the sand of countless grains it seems
Ever count itself and surrender and flee

Can this night without a sun to hide
Ever stop to breathe and cease to dream

Can this nature with all its beauties in sight
Ever fade away and leave me to cry.

I really liked this poem, slow and ponderous it made me consider your words carefully.
You pose some interesting thoughts/questions that we might well all have considered when thinking about the immensity and majesty of nature.

Nice write, take care,
Dom
