I follow the stream of planets to a crack in the moon.
I peer into the crevice of my looming destiny.
The rocks of hatred crumble, making it bigger, taking me down.
down.
down.
down.
I fall into the neverending hole and land on a. . . a pillow?
What has cursed me with its twisted, cynical humor?
I search for a path out when i find you.
I mistake you for evil when you promise help.
I force you to leave.

i didn't find this at all confusing...falling and into the crack of the moon..and pushing the good things in life away...falling away from them so to speak...mistaking heavenly for evil and forcing it to leave..i understood this so much it makes me wanna cry..been there..know what you mean...sometimes we just aren't sure how something came about but it sure is awsome that this poem came about..nicely done...loved it alot...

oh my ... how painfully sad. I admit, I was drawn in by the
title, (the moon holds such mystical wonder for me), but
I was not prepared for such a heartbreaking write.

kyle, this is an incredible metaphor! How wonderful ... a
crack in the moon that you ultmately fall through and find
deception and pain ... a betrayal of your very own soul. And
how excruciating is that, when we are betrayed by ourselves??

WOW and wow again, poet. Wonderfully written. So emotive
and thought provoking ...
