Which you yourself have torn apart.

Thrown it down upon the ground.
For all the pieces to be scattered around.

Never thinking about how I feel.
Never helping me deal.

Deal with all the pain I have been put through.
All the pain I thought disappeared when I met you.

But now I guess it was all wrong.
Just like another tragic love song.

Starts off good the heart does mend.
Til finally you get to the end.

My Paper heart so fragile and weak.
Now scattered around and blowing into the creek.

Never to mend because of you.
Never again to find a love so true.

Hurt now fills that empty place.
My mind now filled with the image of your face.

My ears filled with your voice so cold.
The words you uttered so mean and bold.

My paper heart I gave to you.
Now scatterd and torn apart in two.

Leaving me hurt and in despair.
Not at all showing you care.

Watching the tears fall down my cheek.
Making me feel so helpless and week.

I gave to you all that I had.
All you gave to me was the constant feeling of being sad.

Never filling the gap in my soul.
Never wanting to make me feel whole.

My paper heart
Now shredded and torn apart.

I know what it likes to feel empty inside like that... Nicely done. It's too bad that many of us can relate to this. I hope everything works out for you.
