And I knew it was wrong, I knew it all along
Though I even had myself convinced
that's how bad I wanted this
it didn't take long for me to see
One look in his eyes and it was plain to me
What was soon to become of us, now look what's left of us
There you lay, smiling, defenseless, and so secure
Here I stand with my armor on and I am so unsure
Looks like you'll never break me
Looks like you'll never make me your fool
and you will never have your way
And Underneath it all I'm bleeding
You know how looks can be deceiving
But, I wear my heart upon my sleeve
my invisible heart which you don't seem to see
There you were, looking innocent with the evidence all around
There I was, looking dissapointed because you had let me down
Though I won't shed a tear for fear you'll take my weakness and use it against me
And underneath my sheild I'm bleeding
It's only made of glass you see and
I wear my heart upon my sleeve
My invisible heart which you don't care to see
