Apologies for the all things I should have said. [bodytext] =>

If I do not let it show
Then I have failed you in the moment
With the absence of my emotion
By the echo of my silence

When I do not acknowledge pain
Then I have said, it does not matter
Does not matter that you hurt
Does not matter that I know

For, if I do not take the time
Then I have expressed your worth to me

If I do not recognize pain
It is because I have distanced you and I
If I am no longer saddened by the same
It is because I have agreed to forget

But I have come to know the difference
Between love and distance
It is but a word, from me to you
I no longer quiet, and closer still
