Does it hurt when you breathe?
I think it does
For your expressions give you away
In between your wheezing
And weak gasps for air,
Why did you continue?
Why did you persist?
They told you to stop
But you would not listen,
So listen to me now
Take my lungs
Theyre fresh and yours to keep
And if you can keep them clean
They will let you breathe,
Please listen to me
And so as I say
For you know its the only way
That you will be able to stay
So you can live to see another day
