a total barbed wire nation or a dark, deep canyon,
where our secrets are held
It doesn't matter about what's natural or real
but keeping it to yourself and reserving what you feel.

There's a good tax-man and a bad Samaratin
playing Russian Roulette like a concept they're cheating,
aiming at the head but it isn't convincing
because people shoot to kill while the threat keeps repeating.

But when Pandora's Box goes on Auto-Lock
all the walls go away,
Danger's on the run and Fear's on the sway.
All the bad things take a turn for the worse
when the Dark's gone and the Law's cursed.

As sure as Niagara Falls falls a messenger calls,
with a drowned black baby dragging his leg through these halls.
And he just pushes on manifested through dawn
to place still insurance on each prisoner's lawn,
till he reaches the cracked monument and salutes still under it's spell

A bearded man asks how long till he can pay with good looks.
The real things we are guarding aren't close to the truth,
they're just an icecap on slide, a mother wanting to hide
outside a ranch in Texas where the widowed all cry,
for a statue that fell like a liberty bell, we seek to teach what we could never expel

But when Pandora's Box goes on Auto-Lock
all the walls go away,
Danger's on the run and Fear's on the sway.
All the bad things take a turn for the worse

This is like an old rock ballad from the likes of King Crimson or Pat Metheny and wow it jams the walls melt and I am cool.

Well Done

Peace
