I recently ended a relationship
Not to long ago,
He called me an investigator
Because I wanted too much info.
How am I going to get to know someone,
If I don’t ask questions?
My fault, the lights did blink on and off CAUTION, CAUTION!!
But instead, I chose to ignore the signs,
Acting as if I was completely blind.

Someone told me years ago,
“Talk is cheap, but shown proven has always been unique”.
I don’t know why this time was so different;
Maybe, it was that bedroom “stir it up” technique.
We had so much passion in the bedroom,
I knew this was too good to be true.
I would have felt better if you would've said
You wanted to be "Jump Offs" instead of trying to add value.

It’s been a month since we’ve talked
And he knows I’m not the one to play hawk.
Don’t men know that the more time you waste;
You eventually lose your space.
I wish we could have talked and ended things better than we did,
Instead there were no words spoken
And to have a conversation with him now, is something I forbid.

When I sit back and think about it,
You were never really for me;
You just wanted some of me
And I gave me to you willingly.
I am so happy you have no idea how you made me feel,
For this chapter in my life is now over and never to be revealed.

This write is incredible. It shows that you learned even if he ddddn't. My guess is he had something to hide. The old saying around here is the guilty dog always bites first.
This write rocks-n-will go on rockin thru time.
Big hugg,
emy

Grownbabygirl, Wow what an emotional poem you have composed here for your readers to savor over. I too agree with other comment as it appears to me someone has something to hide or do not want it to be discovered. If the love is true and really meant to be there is no secrets nor any reason to try to avoid being questioned as I want to be totally open and honest with my special someone always. Besides I would want to know every little detail about their life and experiences because I want to know and love them more than myself. Now I want to thank you for once again sharing a little of yourself and especially your wonderful words of poetry with us all.

You are an awesome writter. I love your strenght and honesty and point blank approach to situations of love. what can i say accept, " Passion is for the moment, but Love is eternal." when we let our choices dictate us instead of guiding us, these are the results. Believe it or not and certainly no reflection on you, but there are women players also, I know this only to well from past experience. great write never the less.
