Death a destination
I've met the end of my being
My eyes are open wide
But I am not seeing
I can only feel myself depleting
As I watch my soul die
Kneeling beside your empty throne
Holding your crown, I stand alone
A vacant mind and a broken home
Engaging the end in a seamless gaze
Fearless I climb through this tortured blaze
Wings unstained, a broken hearted eternity gained
Forever my emotions have been locked away
Like the seconds of time on a forgotten day
This is the beginning to my ending
And I find myself remembering
How much I loved you, placed no one above you
Kept my word, stayed devoted, loyal and true
As I watched you leave me in this lonley space
Begging you not to go, as the tears rolled down my face
Out of hope, the end I must now find
Set my heart to rest and shutdown my mind
I'm so tired inside, I can no longer try
So here it is...
My final goodbye. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 149 [topic] => 48 [informant] => bleedthelove [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

This was deep. I felt your emotions and your hurt flow through this. Stay strong. This was beautifully written and the flow was great. This was a very sad but great poem.

Take care
*hugs*
