Lies a time we once shared, over good and the bad.
A time of innocence and true freedom,
A time to grow and learn with true spirit.

With purpose or none, didn't matter to us,
We where young and felt free, no stress or rushed energy.
Oh to run so fast, and pant out of breath,
But we'd do it again, just to thrive on the thrill.

But those days truely lived, although in the past,
Will remain in our minds, not forgotten one second.
When we all feel down, just look at a child,
And remember that feeling, on the hills we once played. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful...I just got to experience again the butterflys at play in my tummy as I remembered what it felt like to, ' log roll ' down a grassy embankment...thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This was precious!

Beautifully written. The words bring on a feeling of longing.
