They'll miss her all so very much.
The searching eyes, her smiling face,
Who's there to fill that empty space?

The care of not just body but mind,
Can others take over are they all blind?
Can't they see the empty hearts, the misplaced teeth,
The wordless charts?

A touch of acceptance, the laughter of hope,
The extra mile, the perfumed soap.
Colour co-ordintation, you learned that here.
Who'll lie beside them and conquer their fear?

Chosen by grace much wiser than me,
My heart does break as you Exit Edie. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 259 [topic] => 55 [informant] => needledancing [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Great dedication to what has been a good friend, aide and assistant.
Now it is easy to infer your user name is from a medical reference rather than a street name, Whew!

Well Done

Peace
Yang

Nurses are indeed a special breed and have a hard job to do. It's things like this poem - heartfelt and full of praise, which can make things all the more worthwhile.

Congratulations on a good write

Keep it up

:D

ND, this is a beautiful tribute. And I must say that
I see as much compassion in your amazing heart
as I know you must have witnessed in this wonderful
lady, whom you praise here. Sorry that you have to
feel the pain of her absence.

Very touching ~
