my head is full of yesterday
and thats all thats on my mind
day dreaming of the memories
that wont be left behind
every minute spent with you
will always be remembered
with every little thing you do
the moments are all treasured
you had the guts to take my hand
you took the time to understand
you forgive me for all my dumb mistakes
and now ill do what ever it takes
i remember when i started to cry
and you held me in your arms
for a minute it seemed this horrible place
could no longer cause me harm
and i remember how it used to be
the way that you still look at me
you see the things that no one sees
your heart is now a part of me
your the one who makes life worth living
and your the one who makes my love worth giving
with out you i would still be so alone
an empty shell in a broken home
but most remembered will be
our one final goodbye
the one final kiss
and the tears in my eyes
the necklace i gave you
was just my own little way
of letting you know
that i wish you could stay
ill always remember
ill never forget
the most perfect of times
that we wont soon regret

broken_not_beautiful, This is a master piece from you as it drips with pure emotion for your readers to grasp and savor. I applaud you for a wonderful heartfelt poem as I take my hat off and bow before you with the hopes that a small part of your glowing talent may rub off onto me as beautiful inspiration. Thank You for giving us such a wonderful piece of poetic literature.
