Like solving the mystery of life with just one clue
We can search the world but there shall be no answer
Sometimes sunlight finds a crevice in a darkened room
But like a lasting peace we can not capture
For when the sunlight fades we shall have dark once more
Sometimes we find a smile that makes pain disappear
But with time it fades for nothing good is everlasting
Emotion is something we can not capture
Sometimes we find moments where we could live forever,
But they will fade for immortality we can not capture
So in this darkened room I shall sit
Weaving this net as the sun is forever setting

Sometimes beauty swirls around us like a shoeless dancer

I really liked this write.. Its very well expressed of lost love.. I love the ending too great job

As I was reading this I found myself nodding in agreement to many of the sentiments expressed here, particularly
'Sometimes we find a smile that makes pain disappear
But with time it fades for nothing good is everlasting
Emotion is something we can not capture'

The last two lines are haunting. a beautifully expressed poem.
