Twisting and turning inside of myself
I look to see the time yet again
Addicting like it becoms so important
And if I lost it
Would I still be me?
Or would this life I lead take
A new turn unexpectedly?
I can see
But I am so blind
Maybe because it's a simplified
Complexity
The question of what I am
Looking to find
Reaching to pull the cord
On this illusional life support
I find it's missing
So am I dead or alive?
I pose this question with
A return of no answer
With every breath
That I learn to take
There is so much
Clarity
The more I wonder what's been done
To me
Asleep; lying upon this cold hard floor
I envision so many lives
I consider leading secretly
And upon waking
I'm lost; Everything's gone
And the cold nothingness leaves me
Shaking..

A tight confessional piece that is the best part of poetry: a revealing of the self to the self. I hope in ten and twenty years from now this poem exposes you to the corners that your mind is ever peeking around.
I especially liked:

"...Asleep; lying upon this cold hard floor
I envision so many lives
I consider leading secretly
And upon waking
I'm lost; Every thing's gone..."

Well Done

Peace
Yang
