The taste of disappointment
So bitter and so strong
The words that go unsaid
Mean an unrequited wrong
Someone I thought I knew
Reveals a stranger side.
Spirals into darkness
And never breaks his stride.
A plummet to depravity
Whose cause remains unknown.
An attitude worth fearing
And one hes never shown.
The taste is that of sorrow
A sadness most profound.
But the tears I yearn to shed
Will never meet the ground.
