[bodytext] => I’d have traded my dreams for you and this place Makes me wonder why you want me now, a lifetime away With a cold wind blowing in, I’d peer into your casket home a world away, in some triangular stone You’ve three sides round. I’m different then you remember me One side knows that and the other is just so blind And on long walks by memorial parades I could tell you Text messaging is no communication for the other side through When I wanted it all and was more then a shell you’d of left me alone like a penny on the ground Like Lincoln’s face I’d frown at you upside down and picked up Somebody would of called that good luck And in front me, I see that old saying so clear, “You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone” But it’s been scratched soft, graffiti splashed by night muses And now, “You don’t know what you want till it chooses” I’ve seen a couple streets, a couple paths, a couple in the dark They walk around this town, like it’s a cathedral ground waiting for someone to marry them off And I’m just listening, picking up my medicine; I’ve never felt so very alone With what I want, haven had what it’s chose in some triangular stone [comments] => 1 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Franciswolf [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
