Believeing in things that don't make any sense
Like "Living is the most important thing."
Or "We all love each other."

Why in the world would people believe in THAT idea
Murders kill everyday and get away with it
Drug dealers making more money then any man
Any honest man working for his wages
And we have rapist, sadist, madmen, loony men...
What a world we live in
So corrupt is this world man-made
And so man-made is sin

The world should be purged of all its evil
The good sacrificed to the good of the cause
And the gastly evocation of world distruction
Will disrupt the balance of all our laws
But then again it's doomed to go
This world is Hell bent and will not change
No matter how many people feel they can make a difference
We're doomed to submerge into a world of pain

The world is so full of the currupted wraiths
And do to the humanistic quality to belong
We will, inevitability, conform to the masses
And break our ties that once was strong
And fall we will and quickly fade
Into nothing but chaos and fear
This is the world the future holds
And it's starting to turn from here

Maybe I am asinine
Or maybe I speak true
But the question, ask yourself
On which side are you? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 390 [topic] => 46 [informant] => Harimitsu [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => didactic )

welcome to planet Earth.
murders,corruption,lies,betrayals exist.
you are most certainly not asinine. the people who commit their sins fulfill their destiny. In a way.
I qoute the Gospel of Mary Magdalene:
"there is no sin./ It is you who make sin exist,/ when you act according to the habits of your corrupted nature;/this is where sin lies."
If you let go of your too tight attachments to the sorrows of this place, and fill yourself with the pleasant stuff that surround you, you'll survive it through.
Btw, great write!

cheers,
-glass
