Array ( [sid] => 129551 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => i told you so [time] => 2006-12-18 16:32:31 [hometext] => usually i dont write like this but then i watched the news for about 45 minutes and realized how oblivious the world is [bodytext] => were do we go when all we thought was perfect just vanishes one day
when the world falls from beneath our feet and the ground gives way
when all the mountains crash and the rivers run dry
when the only sign of water is the tears from our eyes
when science fails us and all we have learned turns out to be lies
when everything that was alive just crumbles over and dies
when the commets and meteors fall from the sky
and we all fall to our knees scream out why
but whats the difference we brought this on ourselves in this dreadful hole we call the world
these deginerate freaks walking the streets being accepted by society out of fear and sympathy
we deny its here but its becoming undeniable
get ready for fire and bombs, and tidal waves science told us was impossible
this hole full of junkies and hypocrits is gonna get what it deserves in the end
and theres gonna be billions of dumbfounded ignorant people asking what is happening
when their whole lives they were warned but were to busy with their meaningless self righteous problems to actually listen
so wake up cause this not just someone just with problems talking about destruction but will utimately be the only thing that matters to anyone, cause the thing we call our lives is just a big festering distraction for the judgement about to come down on our sick life styles, and now you might say im the sick and crazy one but i the end, ill be the one saying i told you so

I write like this all the time I don't even watch the news. Nice write, and there is absolutely no joke intended when I say...I feel, ya homie.

I'll be saying it with ya man, and there are others too, and it'll be we told you so! But lets not shut up! We will truly be defeated if we do!
Excellent poem!
Write On!
Peace
