Stealing, cheating, just cause for our strife
Cut corners, cross borders, to find your own lies
Walk straight, without hate, nevermind the last line
It wasnt there, till you made it, found god and asked why
"Why O why did I ever ask why?"
What are we doing here and who thinks they're right?
Aren't we going somewhere according to time?
Pass on, pass away, thats the end of the line
Dont ask, sleep easy, work hard for that dime
Get shorted a nickel, and taxed another dime
Settle for a penny, again you ask why
"What am I doing? This is not worth my time"
Don't know what you should do, but that path, it ain't right
Not much that you can do, so either give up or die
And again comes that question, "whats the meaning to life?"
Living and breathing, they keep us alive
Hold on a second, is there not more thats inside?
You swear there is, untill you're told its a lie
Thats when some surrender, find god, and don't try
When others become strangers, fear love, cross the line
But its both of these outcomes that are the ultimate crimes
It is those that keep searching that live a rich life
Never finding one answer, but both the truth and the lies
Whatever, its no matter, we'll make up our minds
I wish you luck on you journey, and I hope I make mine
Living, breathing, not so sure of the time
Whatever, its no matter, I'm along for the ride.

Good job... Very lyrical flow and good read...

This write has screaming guitar licks peeking in between and behind the drive of this piece...

Well Done

Peace
Yang
