Array ( [sid] => 12936 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => deceit and deception [time] => 2003-02-19 11:20:00 [hometext] => poem. about lies. so...simple.
******************************* [bodytext] => there is a note under the mattress
it says stuff she never dared to speak
about how all the things she was known for
were really just bad lies

she never lost her virginity to the out of towner
named tommy, like she told all her friends
and that one boy who followed her like a puppy
she never won a spelling bee in the fourth grade, like she told her sixth grade classwhen she moved here
in an effort to fit in

and her boyfriend's name wasn't whatever she had said, she had been single
until that mark kid asked her out
since he thought he could get some

she kinda wishes she could tell her mom
that when she said she had never did that with a guy
she had lied, so she wouldn't be talked about
because her aunts do that kinda stuff
the gossiping, and then the cousins talk

so now she wants to free her soul
from all the lies that tie her down to the ground
she is bearing her soul
for all us to see
without a care in the world about her appearance
but who cares now? she's killed herself anyways.
