[hometext] => I read a good Poem - Scrooge & The Three Stooges - from MisfitMe . I submitted a comment and was inspired to write this poem.
[bodytext] => A beer or two in what we do With an ale a day when we play Sometimes a smoke or a toke to make it pass As time is squandered away! Here we remain to whittle and gain At our feet the very sweet For our taste alas we waste And gone what we once had So in the morrow a hope gone the sorrow And as we speak the strong are meek With smiles and chases on children’s faces The playing field level and flat I say drink that beer with no fear In good cheer keep what is dear For kiss a cuddle and a touch I will whittle my way with a smile a day!
