[title] => Shall I compare thee? (opposing Shakespeare’s Shall I Compare Thee)
[time] => 2003-02-18 10:40:00
[hometext] => This sonnet, resembling Shakespeare's "Shall I compare thee to a Summer's Day.." was written in class for my mother whom I felt at the time was forgetting about me.
[bodytext] => Shall I compare thee to a Winter’s night?
Stone cold is thou heart, Though your eyes, they are bright. The moon does not shine, tis too gone dark. Shall I compare thee to a burning flame? A small lit light in need to rekindle. Striving to go out, hath thee got no shame? Was my light lit by such a small candle? Shall I compare thee to the raging ocean? Dancing with anger, violently cruel. Never a break, always in motion, Swaying unsteadily like a drunken fool. I thought I loved thee but now I am anguished. True love does not fade, but yours hath extinguished.
