the moon falls fast asleep,
For every time a flower dies,
out a new bud creeps,
For every smiling face you see,
there is a face that frowns,
For every time a dream comes true,
there is a dream that drowns,
For every new born on this earth,
there is a life that ends,
For every time a friend is lost,
another friendship mends,
For every laugh of pure delight,
there is a cry of sorrow,
For every day of my life,
there is a new tomorrow,
For every moment that passes by,
I thank Thee for the past
I’ll treat each breath I’ll ever breathe
As if it were my last.
