[hometext] => 2nd Poem inspired by the poets of the First World War
[bodytext] => Endless war is here.
Nothing but pain and fear. Starvation and hunger Going on longer and longer. There's no life, no hope, Trying their best to cope, It shows on their faces And the sadness in their tears, They'll never forget these years. Endless war is here. The conclusion never near. Men already know their fate, They'll soon be waiting at that gate. But is it in vain? That's the question asked again and again. It won't be if you can make it To the end, when it's all over, When you see the white cliffs of Dover.
