To hold one in your arms And feel their breath on your hair Heart closed and eyes open The blind do not care Sheep to the slaughter Lambs watch on in horror As their parents give their life For their offsprings honour When the sun goes down And the darkness comes Only with the light Can I find my way home None can know what lies within This long journey to begin With each step you become aware Of what it is to beware. Before the darkness And after the light I am forsaken As my soul takes flight
