The wolf therein knows no sin,
by nature red in tooth and claw
with howl and growl and gaping maw,
it eats down to soul and bone
and is happiest when this is done.

The tiger inside cares not to hide,
but paces out and marks its space
its movements of such sinuous grace,
so rarely tearing through the skin
content to feast on that within.

The bear down deep does not weep,
it takes and takes until its gorged
on all the good things that were forged,
and laps great draughts of cooling pain
then finds a hole to sleep again.

Some very powerful animal images, you capture their nature well, and speak to some of the human condition, too. Afterall, it is man's fate to dwell on sin.

A great portrayal of the animalistic nature of our subconcious, marvelous writing.
