Trapped, I say, we are all locked, All things are under one great power, As tick tock goes the clock, Our lives run by the passing of hours.
All things are under one great power, The inconceivable power of time. Our lives run by the passing of hours. Time can do anything, no reason or rhyme.
The inconceivable power of time, Kills and creates all in one day. Time can do anything, no reason or rhyme, Gives us love, then takes it away.
Kills and creates all in one day, It steals memories of days gone by, Gives us love, then takes it away, Burns flashes of moments into our minds.
It steals memories of days gone by, Healing wounds, teaching us to forgive, Burns flashes of moments into our minds, Reminding us of what it is to live.
Healing wounds, teaching us to forgive, It has ultimate power over all. Reminding us of what it is to live, Time holds our lives in a crystal ball.
It has ultimate power over all. Trapped, I say, we all are locked; Time holds our lives in a crystal ball, As tick tock goes the clock.
