Array ( [sid] => 127902 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Test [time] => 2006-11-06 17:57:25 [hometext] => Original Ideas for this piece came from my search for 'God' at the age of 18 [bodytext] =>

God is retiring the archangels proclaim.

The choir of Seraphim decree “He seeks to choose those who would fill the office of the Lord. For ‘Three’ shall become ‘One’ pointing to your soul!”

You are given choice of the 3 aspects of Godhood
Omnipotence: All Power and Strength
Omniscience: All Knowledge and Wisdom
Omnipresence: All Place and Times

The choir crescendos heralding “Please choose the office you would fulfill.” Take care to know your abilities and limitations for it is there that 3 shall become One
as the sharing of each thread weaves the Crown.”

Please make your choice now!

Those who choose Omnipotence one must remember patience to transform
“Power into Strength” for in strength one measures the best use of power as it will absolutely corrupt if let untended.

Those who choose Omniscience one must remember compassion to transform “Knowledge into Wisdom” for knowledge will revert to power if intended.

Those who choose Omnipresence one must apply mirth in order to transform and know all “Times & Places”
Let Wisdom and Strength Harmonize with the Heart and tend to each cell, atom and second with
arms open wide
loving to balance.

With poem and prose one may conjecture, theorize and test hard garnered bits of wisdom until its truth is determined or disproved. In the above piece I have proven to myself that 'god' is to be found in ones behavior, in the small choices one makes and in the power of moment which becomes ‘strength’. I have tested this and currently I am unable to disprove this understanding. I have simply found 'god' living in the very process of the choices we make.

AJ, What a stunning piece. I'm still trying to figure loads of things out. I was raised for the most part in the Catholic religion, which I just could not swallow. I am under the belief we are all god, we are all connected, this whole thing is connected in one huge geometric pattern, all living and breathing as one. Mother Earth is my most precious god (one might say) for she is the solid rock who gave us life.
Thanks for giving me some food for thought.
I truly enjoyed the read.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Right freakin' on!!!As much as I liked your conclusion, I appreciate your process in arriving there even more. And I'm very impressed w/ the way you expressed your understanding as one,"current", instead of absolute. It shows me a willingness to learn & grow. An attribute I esteem highly.

After reading the entire Neale Donald Walsch dialogue I find your piece as enlightening as his was. Excellent piece.
