Not just a guy here
but subtle spirit.

No 'gallon club' invite
my salmon go upstream
to Lao Tzu's grotto;
that cubed center
at the top of our central nervous
systems endocrine tree.

There is a bridge of birds
taking flight there
whose toll is simple: stay in touch
tongue tip to soft palate hollow;
wets the souls trench,
charged by subtle buddhas
or babies bursting smile
our bodies elixir
now alchemical swallow.

Deep spirals trace,
just below the navel
and noursh the orbirts center.
Gut: crop strength.
Feeling: steel drawn whole to
acknowledge the four directions
lest ones lifeorce
be so quartered. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 284 [topic] => 61 [informant] => yangdantien [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 18 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

Interesting write here. I felt we were going through our chakras.

"Deep spirals trace,
just below the navel
and nourish the orbit's center"

I really found this quite deep and respectful of our most precious minds and bodies. Be kind to your self, my brother. I am not entirely sure where this piece takes you, ah but that is the tease and enjoyment of great writing. Leave them thinking...leave them wondering.
Thanks for sharing.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Damn man. I meant to say I loved the opening to this. Your honesty laid out, right there.

"Not just a guy here
but a sublte spirit"

Glad our paths have met.
Peace once again. *winks*
Laura

I think I will call this forth in a deep meditation it sounds incredible....you are so very deep and powerful in these words. I hear it being read by an Englishmen with devotion to each word.

Not to be mistaken for me taking this piece lightly, but I must (rather selfishly :O) say that I couldn't help but think; "Damn! I wish I could self struggle half as poetically!!" Haha. Not so funny, but true : ) The ending is somewhat haunting, which is good; it resonates with the reader.
